My topic for the final project was Feminism: History and Current Activism. Starting from week one feminism was a very important topic for our class. However, after reading realizations from week one and knowing from personal experience, I recognized it was still a subject that was misunderstood. I decided to create three infographics that might be helpful when trying to explain what feminism is and the relevance it has today. Infographic one explains feminism and gives some reason for its relevance today. This could be useful for people who don’t really know anything about feminism. Infographic two features a fact versus fiction column that addresses common myths and misconceptions about feminism. This could be useful for someone who has a misunderstanding of what feminism really is. Finally, infographic three breaks down each week of our course and relates it to feminism. This could be useful for teaching someone about feminism or trying to get someone to take this class. Feel free to share.
